It is out pleasure to welcome you into our beloved family home away from home! My wife and I are experienced hosts, with multiple vacation homes. Making sure you have a perfect stay is our number one goal????
About the home. This is a one of a kind LINDEL CEDAR HOME, with an open layout, 16 foot Cathedral ceilings with floor to ceiling windows.
We are setup to accommodate 4+ families with children in comfort with lots of activities inside and outside the home. The home has a large wrap around driveway that fits up to 7 cars, a private heated pool available from April to October, a 100’x40′ outdoor patio with a kids playground and 40×30 grass area for outdoor games. With an additional 60×30 grass area in front of the home that is great for yard games. Our game room is ideal for keeping the kids busy, with table games like air hockey, foosball, and shuffleboard. The main floor, sunroom, patio area and the wraparound deck are perfect places to hang back with your friends and loved ones.
If you have small kids, you are in luck! We have gates, a crib, a changing table, a high chair and a booster seat, plus all sorts of toys and a swing-slide set in the garden.
By far the best part is the location. We are off the beaten path in the North Pocono Mountains, within 5 minute drive of Lake Wallenpaupack, a huge 17 mile lake with five boat rental marinas where you can waterski, go tubing or rent a pontoon or a speedboat. Promised Lake State Park, where you can swim at a sandy beach or have a good old outdoor picnic is another 5 minute drive .
We have a small but well populated animal park (Claws & Paws) as well as an amusement park with water slides, laser tag and bumper cars close by. And off course there are tons of awesome hikes in the area that we will gladly share.
Other activities in the are nearby include archery, mini golf, treetop repelling, water rafting and paintball. Tennis courts, Handball Courts and a large covered picnic area are 1 mile away. Kalahari Indoor Park and Aquatopia Waterpark are not far away.
For adults we are close to Mt. Airy Casino, with several gold resorts in the area.
For winter sports, there are several options available for snow tubing, skiing and snow boarding such as Blue Mountain, Camelback Ski Resort, Shawnee Ski Resort and Big Bear at Masthope Mountain.
We will share all our favorite locations and help you plan your itinerary prior to your arrival.
Pool propane fuel heating costs are not included in the price of the rental. Please inquire regarding pool heating costs.
